CRUST:

Sift flour and salt into large bowl.

Add shortening and blend with a pastry cutter.

Add both amounts of water, and form into ball. Wrap
ball in wax paper.

Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.

Cut dough in half.

Roll out using floured board and rolling pin.

FILLING:

Preheat oven to 400.

Stir together all ingredients (except for egg). Spread
butter evenly.

Can mix into pie shell or mix in bowl first then pour
into pie shell.

Put on top crust. Pinch together. Make slits on top.

Brush top with egg mixture.

Bake 40-45 minutes.
