Cranberry Salad 


Ingredients:

 

  • 6oz pkg cranberry flavored jello. (Cherry, strawberry, rasp, blk cherry will also work)

  • 2 C. boiling water (per jello instructions)

  • 1/2 C mandarin oranges. chopped.

  • 16oz Can whole cranberry sauce in can.

  • 1 apple. softer kind

  • 1 C sugar.

  • 1 C chopped celery. If available. can omit.

  • 1 C chopped walnuts or pecans.

  • 1 C or more of small cut up grapes. Prefer red.

 

Directions:

 

Make jello as directions state. Chill for 1/2 hours until just starting to gel. 

Mix together oranges, cranberries, apples, sugar, and nuts. (pre mix)

Add to jello, mix, pour into a 9x13 dish. (for serving)

Notes:

 

You have to let this thing set for at least 2 days. Really. Tested in out in 2012! Fruit seems to take on the jello flavor. Taste mush better after sitting!
