Heat oven to 375.

Combine: sugar, Crisco. Beat at medium speed until
well blended.

Add eggs, syrup, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.

Combine: Flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add to mix at low speed.

Divide dough into 4 quarters.

If dough is to soft or sticky, wrap in plastic and
place in fridge for 1 hour.

Spread 1 T. of flour on large sheet of waxed paper.
Flatten dough.

Put a second sheet of of paper on top and roll to
1/4" thickness.

Cut out cookies and place on cookie sheet.
-
Bake at 375 for 5-9 minutes.
