Turkey Cooking Notes 


Ingredients:

 

  • Let turkey thaw for at least 3 days prior!

  • Cook at 325.

  • Times: If stuffed, add 30 min. Find bird with pop out timer.

  • 10 # = 3hr

  • 13# = 3.75 hr

  • 15# = 4.25 hr

  • 19# = 4.5 hr

  • 22# = 5 hr

  • Brush turkey with veg oil. Do not cover yet. Only cover if getting to brown.

  • Inside temp should be 170

  •

  • Try deep fryer in peanut oil. Has to be peanut oil!

  • Don't forget to tie legs together. This is a must. Leave tied if not stuffing.

  • I used turkey bag, not sure if you have to.

  • Let sit for 30 min. before cutting.

  • If not using all of turkey, put some in freezer right a way.
