Vacation 2002 Day 1

Day 1 started with a 4am wake up call to catch our flight. We had a connecting flight in Denver, so it took a little longer. We got to LA, got our rental car, found our hotel, did some sight seeing, and then had to meet everyone to pick up the tuxes for Tim and Chrissy's wedding. The night ended with us all hanging out at the main hotel chatting. Some of us didn't get to bed until nearly 4:30 that next morning.

We got the car. We're getting outta there! Trees with no bark? What kinda place is this? Heading to LA!

Cool. We don't have tunnels in Kansas City! Just a cool pic while we were trying to figure out where we were, and where we were going. No palm trees in Kansas City either! Especially not in October.

We finally made it to Pasadena, so we got a bite to eat at a sidewalk cafe. This is the main street that runs in front of the hotel. Fair Oaks. We were pretty much at the base of the Sierra Madre mountains. Not much of a great view out this side of the hotel!

Later that evening, everyone flying in from all over got together at the hotel bar. Everyone just chillin', drinkin' a bud. Well, not everyone.
